Irrigation heads are the devices that apply water to your lawn. There are two kinds of heads: rotary and spray.
Spray - Spray heads, which have no moving parts, distribute an adjustable (0 - 360 degree) "mist" of water to a contained area. Spray heads are commonly found in smaller areas such as boulevards, gardens and around swimming pools.
Rotary - Rotary heads are found in larger turf areas like front and backyards. Unlike older impact sprinklers heads, Rain Bird's rotary heads are completely silent and operate on patented mechanism. Adjustable from a 40 to 360 degree arc, Rainbird turf heads are highly versatile and come in many styles. For residential purposes, Tactical Irrigation commonly uses the Rainbird 3500 Series Rotor and the Rainbird 5000 Series Rotor. |
