Turf Irrigation Systems
Commonly found in both small homes and larger estates, a turf irrigation system will keep your lawn vibrant and green throughout the summer. Tactical Irrigation will custom design and install your automatic turf irrigation system for optimal lawn coverage. All of our systems are designed on the idea of head-to-head coverage as this ensures that all areas of your lawn are watered adequately and evenly. To prevent over-watering, all of our systems are equipped with a Rain Bird rain sensor which will prevent watering during times of rainfall when a pre-set moisture point has been met.

Tactical Irrigation exclusively uses top-of-the-line Rain Bird parts (please take a look at our products section to find out more). Rain Bird turf irrigation systems installed by Tactical Irrigation are easily maintained, often requiring nothing more than an annual start-up and winterization and periodic adjustments to the easy-to-use system controller.

Drip Irrigation
Drip irrigation is an ideal low-volume solution for trees, flowerbeds, shrubs, potted plants and gardens. Water is applied at a consistent rate directly to the roots of your plants at a slow and steady rate to ensure proper root health. Drip irrigation will reduce water waste through evaporation or runoff. It aids in deep root growth and leads to healthier, more colourful plants. Drip irrigation is virtually invisible, will water your plants without you even noticing it and will save you valuable time.

Winterizations & Spring Start-Ups
Whether your irrigation system was installed by us or another contractor, we offer a complete range of services to ensure that your system is performing optimally.

During the late fall, irrigation systems must be winterized to prepare for the cold weather. A properly winterized irrigation system will have all shut-off valves closed, the system controller properly set and irrigation lines blown out to remove remaining water in the lines. A properly winterized irrigation system is less susceptible to damage due to water freezing in the lines.

A spring start-up includes setting the clock to appropriate watering times, introducing water back into the system and fine tuning your system for optimal performance. Tactical Irrigation offers one complimentary spring start-up and one complimentary winterization with all installations and competitively priced thereafter.

Service Calls
To ensure customer satisfaction, Tactical Irrigation will return to your home both one week and one month after installation to fine-tune your irrigation system (free of charge).

Additional service calls are available at a reasonable cost. Whether you have a broken head that needs replacing, need your underground irrigation lines marked or moved for the installation of a pool or deck or would like your system expanded, we strive to deal with all service-related issues in a timely fashion. All phone calls will be returned within one business day and most initial site visits can be made within two business days.
